Reading progress update: I've read 113 out of 182 pages.

From the Cradle (The Submissive Heart Book 3) - Michelle Knight

Lots going on with Mark and L... lots. Mark feels as if his head may explode, I can completely understand why he feels that way.

Beautiful. Took my youngest to see Lake Erie. We are only an hour from it, but never get there. So windy, nice temperature though.

The Unyielding

Review:

The Unyielding - Shelly Laurenston

This was great. I was so upset when Laurenston stopped writing more novels for her Pride series. Well, I am over it and am happy that she is spending her time on these now. I rated the first two books in this series high, but this one far surpassed.

The main characters in these books are Skuld's warriors, a crazy bunch of women who were rescued from the afterlife. We also see other character who are warriors for various other Norse gods: Odin's Ravens, Thor's Giant Killers, and more. In this book we get shifters added to the mix too. I have to wonder if at some point the Pride series will somehow tie into this series, one can obsess hope.

Inot my opinion this is one of the best paranormal romance series out, as good as books by Cole, Ward, and all the other major PNR authors. Reminds me of a Lords of the Underwolrd/Immortals After Dark love child.

If you love PNR, definitely put this at the very top of your TBR.

The Dumpling Galaxy Cookbook

Review:

The Dumpling Galaxy Cookbook - Helen You, Max Falkowitz

I really love Chinese dumplings. I have made them a few times using various recipes. The recipes from this book were made with the help of a friend who frequently make Asian cousins and rocks at it.

I have found that it is difficult to find a recipe that has the measurements right for the ingredients. These are way off. The dough was too liquid, too sticky, just not right. After trying five or six time, only a few items came out as they should have, and only after I tweaked the recipe. The items we were able to eat just tasted strange, bland, doughy, all around not good.

If you're looking for a good Chinese dumpling cookbook you may fair better looking elsewhere. I had high hopes when I saw who wrote these recites. I was disappointed.

I am sitting here pondering how to make it happen and him not suspect I am trying to set it up. I am awful to take to a bookstore. You cant get me to leave once I am in there.
